THE BRIEF
Interchange Place is a key building for our client, housing a central trading floor which is mission critical for the business. We were engaged to fully refurbish this corporate environment including offices, reception area and breakout areas.
OUR APPROACH
We worked closely with our client to design and specify all aspects of the refurbishment project. As a key corporate environment, the specifications were to a very high standard, with a requirement for an outstanding aesthetic finish. In addition, we identified areas that would benefit from a full update of M&E services including electrical alterations and upgrades. We were responsible for the complete fabric refurbishment from floors to ceiling, including decoration throughout.
KEY CHALLENGES
Interchange Place is a busy, occupied building and the project needed to be delivered with minimal disruption to the occupants. The trading floor is key to the client's business and required a fully bespoke solution, with any service outages being unacceptable.
OUR SOLUTION
We devised and developed a fast track programme for the project which required close planning in collaboration with our client. The project required meticulous phasing of all the works to ensure minimum disruption to the building's occupants and zero interuptions to the trading floor operations. The final project was successfully completed within 8 weeks.
